Max Hall is hoping for an upturn in fortunes this weekend (24-25 May) as the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship sets course for Snetterton, which will provide the stage for the third meeting of the 2025 season.

With momentum starting to build in the UK’s premier motorsport series, the ROKiT Racing with Un-Limited Motorsport driver heads to the challenging Norfolk circuit with fresh optimism after a number of mechanical issues from recent events were highlighted and rectified.

Showing flashes of pace and promise across the opening two events, it wasn’t until late in the weekend at Brands Hatch where it was discovered that the 18-year-old’s Cupra Leon was suffering from a performance-sapping differential issue.

Now that that issue has been fixed, the Wiltshire-born racer is focused on making a welcome return to the points-paying positions while also looking to make an impression on the battle for Independent and Jack Sears Trophy honours.

Hall goes to Snetterton - which is the longest circuit on the calendar - with fond memories too having been a race-winner at the venue in the MINI CHALLENGE Trophy in 2023 and MINI CHALLENGE JCW in 2024.

Max Hall: “We’ve been a little on the back foot during the first two meetings of the year but I’m hopeful that the issue we managed to uncover at Brands Hatch will bring us back to a much more competitive level from this weekend onwards.

“There’s nothing quite like the BTCC and I’ve been soaking in everything since making my debut. I feel like I’m getting more and more comfortable every time I’m in the car so hopefully we can kick things up a gear at Snetterton.

“It’s a long circuit and having the maximum amount of boost deployment is going to help so if we can make the most of that and have a good qualifying and then who knows what we can do on race day.

“My aim is to keep learning, get three solid finishes under my belt and if we can come away with some more points or even a trophy then that will be even better. It has all the makings of being a great weekend.”

The third BTCC qualifying session of the season takes place at 15:10 on Saturday before Sunday’s three races top the billing at 11:30, 14:20 and 16:55 respectively.

Qualifying will be broadcast on the ITV Sport YouTube channel whilst race day action is LIVE on ITV4 and ITVX.
