Max Hall will step up to the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) in 2025 after agreeing a deal with Un-Limited Motorsport.
In what will be the next exciting chapter of his fledgling career, the talented teenager is poised to take centre stage in what is the UK’s premier motorsport series from behind the wheel of a CUPRA Leon.
Making a name for himself in karting, Hall made an instant impact when he jumped into car racing by powering his way to the Junior Saloon Car Championship title in 2022 before then going on to star in the Vertu MINI CHALLENGE Trophy the following year.
Stepping up to the JCW class this year with multiple champions EXCELR8, the Bristolian was one of the leading lights on the TOCA support series as he tallied five wins and a further five podiums to scoop runner-up laurels in the Drivers’ Championship and the Rookie Cup crown.
Since the close of the 2024 season, Hall has completed a number of test days with Un-Limited Motorsport and has quickly got to grips with the front-wheel drive CUPRA that enjoyed a number of stellar performances this year.
Renowned for being the flagship series in British motor racing, the BTCC provides unrivalled wheel-to-wheel entertainment and access, with all 30 races over the course of each season being aired on free-to-air television courtesy of the ITV network.
Max Hall: “Since I started racing the BTCC has always been the target so I’m both excited and grateful to have the opportunity to line up on the grid with Un-Limited Motorsport next year.
“It’s been a pretty rapid climb up the ranks over the past few years but I feel like I’m ready to take this next step. Competing in the MINI CHALLENGE and working with EXCELR8 really provided me with the platform to really hone my craft - their expertise have been invaluable.
“I’ve had the chance to test the CUPRA a couple of times in recent weeks and on the whole it’s been really positive, both in terms of getting to know the car and the team. There are some great people working behind the scenes and with a year under their belt, confidence is high.
“I’m under no illusions that the BTCC is going to be quite the step up but I’m going into next season with my eyes wide open, fully committed and ready to challenge for the best results possible. I’ve certainly got my eyes set on the Jack Sears Trophy.
“None of this would be possible without the support of my family, my loyal sponsors and of course Un-Limited Motorsport - so a huge thank you has go out to them. I can’t wait to get going now!”
The 2025 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship campaign kicks off at Donington Park on April 26-27.
